Full name: Arthur Septimus Weasley
Date of birth: February 6th, 1949
Blood status: Pureblood
Hometown: Ottery St. Catchpole, Devon
Occupation: Ministry of Magic employee, Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office
House: Gryffindor Alumnus
Appearance: Arthur has always been a bit tall and lanky, even since he was a boy. He has fiery red hair that (sadly) has been thinning since the age of fifteen. He currently wears glasses when reading or tinkering with small Muggle contraptions, but he’ll probably soon have to start wearing them full-time.

Played by: Simon Pegg
Personality: Arthur has always been a generally nice fellow. As the youngest of three boys he was very susceptible to outside influences from other people. Though he gained independence once he went to Hogwarts, it wasn’t long until he was smitten with the influence of someone else: Molly Prewett.
Ever since fourth year the apple of his eye has been no one but his Mollywobbles, and Arthur does anything he can to please her. This sometimes means taking a backseat while she takes the reigns in the family, but Arthur knows that caring for others is what makes her happy, so he is more than glad to take a step back from time to time. His family means the world to him, and when Molly’s happy everyone is happy.
Arthur is generally always in a pleasant mood, and he has a great curiosity about the way Muggle devices tick. He particularly enjoys enchanting them to see what happens, but don’t tell Molly; she thinks it’s dangerous. Since when is trying to make a toaster have the ability to hop and spit out toast dangerous?
Patronus: Weasel
Boggart: Losing his boys and his Mollywobbles
What would they see in the Mirror of Erised? His Molly and their family, safe and secure at The Burrow
Biography and history: Arthur is the youngest son of Septimus and Cedrella (née Black) Weasley. His older brothers, Bilius and Nicodemus, have always been his role models. Unfortunately this made Arthur very much prone to their influence, and as such he was usually the scapegoat when the boys were all up to no good.
In his younger days Arthur had a fascination with all things Muggle; he simply could not get enough. One of his favourite memories is from when he was five and his father took him to Muggle London for a day trip on business. Arthur got to experience the Underground, Trafalgar Square, and Piccadilly Circus in one afternoon. It was amazingly overwhelming, but it was when he decided that he would eventually pursue a career dealing with Muggle-wizard relations.
At Hogwarts, Arthur was sorted in Gryffindor house. It was there that he met Molly Weasley, and even though his eleven year old, girl fearing, cootie paranoid brain told him that he should stay far, far away he found himself smitten with her almost instantly. They started seeing one another in their fourth year, became Prefects in their fifth, and were out of Hogwarts for only a year when they were married in 1969. They set up home in Ottery St. Catchpole, and not a year after their wedding their first son, Bill, was born. Arthur can honestly say that it was the proudest, happiest moment of his life when he first held his oldest son. Since then Arthur and Molly have had two more additions to the family, Charlie in 1972 and Percy in 1976. Arthur loves his boys more than anything in the world, and he is more than certain that he and Molly aren’t done having children.
Arthur works at the Ministry of Magic, in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. Through this job he tracks down illegally enchanted Muggle objects, and he is currently working on writing the Muggle Protection Act. Although the pay is minimal, it’s livable and Arthur loves it. He never goes into work fretting about the day, and he almost always leaves with a smile… and a few extra Muggle contraptions he likes to tinker with out back in the shed once he’s done helping Molly put the boys to bed. He recently has started a collection of these things called batteries and spark plugs. Though he’s not sure what they’re for, they are certainly fascinating little devices!
Arthur’s love for Muggles is nothing compared to his love for his family, yet both of these loves are why he joined the Order of the Phoenix with Molly. He believes in equality amongst Muggles and Purebloods, as well as equality within the wizarding community. He wants his boys to grow up in a safe world where everyone is tolerated and appreciated not because of their blood status, but because of their character.
