Students
First-years
Gryffindor
- Jonathon Callow
Jonny works hard to pull clever and original pranks on people but, unambitious and unoriginal, they're never successful. Or even funny. He's known for not wanting to do the work and trying to be the class clown, and (to his chagrin) for being the son of the new Defence Against The Dark Arts professor, Oswin Callow.
- Alyss Everhart
Alyss is shy and eager to please. She's afraid of magic and unsure how to control it.
Fourth-years
Ravenclaw
- Gilderoy Lockhart (Seeker)
Gilderoy only made it onto the Quidditch team at the end of last term when the Seeker was pulled out of school. He is already trying to make 'improvements' to the team, and to anyone who will listen to him long enough, and is a known show-off and story-topper.
- Barty Crouch, Jr. (Chaser)
Some may know Barty Crouch Jr. as the son of the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement who has imprisoned many Death Eaters. Others may know him as the strange, unsettling boy on the Quidditch team with one eye slightly larger than the other.
Fifth-years
Hufflepuff
- Keid Miram (Seeker)
The Mirams have a long and glorious history of being talented Hufflepuff Quidditch players which anyone who has taken a stroll through the trophy room might know about.
- Thomas Callow (Prefect)
Serious and boastful, Thomas isn't well-liked by the other students. - Prudence Perrill (Prefect)
Prudence is forgetful and prone to daydream -- many Ravenclaws may know her as the girl who's forever looking for something.
- Leonard Brightmore
Leonard is a shy, quiet boy obsessed with astronomy.
Sixth-years
Gryffindor
- Lily Evans (Prefect, member of the Slug Club)
Lily is a prefect and a muggleborn, which many may be aware of. She's also a bright student and favoured by many of her teachers. - Remus Lupin (Prefect, member of the Slug Club)
All the teachers at Hogwarts are aware that Remus Lupin is a werewolf so they can help him take the neccessary precautions at the full moon. To everyone else, he is a mild-mannered prefect. - Peter Pettigrew
Peter Pettigrew is a bully, when his friends are there to back him up, and a general nuisance. - Lyra Taggart (Beater)
Lyra is known for her vehemently colourful clothing, her constant smile, and her willingness to help and tutor anyone who needs it -- even in subjects she's rubbish in.
- Al Kimiya
Al is forever experimenting with new potions, and roping others into testing them for her.
- Severus Snape (Grease-pot, member of the Slug Club)
Severus is interested in the Dark Arts and hasn't made much of an effort to hide it. Some may know about the falling out he had with Lily Evans when he called her a mudblood.
Seventh-years
Hufflepuff
- Ayla Collins (Chaser)
Flirty seventh-year Ayla is known for being pretty, popular, and petite. - William Miram (Chaser)
Hard-working and determined, William (who refuses to go by Will) is known for playing Chaser on the Hufflepuff team.
- Fabian Prewett (Chaser)
Mischevious Fabian gets into trouble and looks good doing it! He has an identical twin, Gideon. - Gideon Prewett (Beater)
- Gideon is a little quieter than his twin Fabian, but not when they're together.
Teachers
- Theresa Berger, Herbology
Austrian Theresa began teaching Herbology two years ago. - Oswin Callow, Defence Against the Dark Arts
Former Auror Oswin has only just started at the school, taking over the role of Defence Against the Dark Arts professor Thaddeus Cattermoul's sudden and horrible disappearance. He is from a rich, old pure-blood family although he is married to half-blood Elsie. - Thaddeus Cattermoul, deceased (former Ravenclaw Head of House, former Deputy Headmaster)
Cattermoul was the previous Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Ravenclaw Head of House, and Deputy Headmaster. He was a pure-blooded wizard -- the first pure-blood to have been singled out in a Death Eater attack. He was killed in his home during the summer, along with half-blood wife and his new baby. The incident was widely reported and is still speculated upon.
Although he is now spoken of reverently, Cattermoul wasn't well-liked when he was alive. He spat while he spoke, had bad breath, and was lavicious with the other teachers. He also gave several of the young, attractive pupils in his house private lessons, which may have been commented on a few times. - Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster (no-player character)
Dumbledore is known for single-handedly defeating Grindelwald in 1945. He has been a loud opposer of You-Know-Who and his war of terror. - Rodolphus Lestrange, Charms
Although he applied for the Defence Against the Dark Arts role, and was intent on getting it, Rodolphus was offered the role of Charms Professor after the previous muggle-born professor Basil Scollick left the school -- and the country. - Minerva McGonagall, Transfiguration (Gryffindor Head of House, Deputy Headmistress)
McGonagall has just been appointed Deputy Headmistress. She's strict and has a no-nonsense policy, but she's a fair teacher.
Order of the Phoenix
Formed in 1970, the Order of the Phoenix is a secret society comprised of people who want to fight and stand against the Death Eaters. Although they work with the Ministry, they are a volunteer, vigilante group. Currently, their headquarters are in an attic above Obscurus Books in Diagon Alley.
- Albus Dumbledore
Dumbledore founded the Order. He came up with a way to make Patronuses speak which the Order use to communicate. - Minerva McGonagall
Minerva's activity within the Order is limited as her duties to educate and protect her students always come first, but she does whatever she can. - Molly Weasley
Molly has three young boys, including a young baby, who take precedence in her life but she offers her talents as an amateur healer and her home when it's needed to the Order.
Death Eaters
The Death Eaters wear masks and many are unknown even to one another. The acting headquarters for Death Eater meetings is currently Malfoy Manor.
- The Dark Lord
Don't dare speak his name! Lord Voldemort controls his followers through fear, humiliation, and empty promises. - Fenrir Greyback (werewolf)
Greyback is a werewolf with a taste for flesh whether he's transformed or not. The Dark Lord finds him useful but he refuses to give him the Dark Mark. - Rodolphus Lestrange
Rodolphus, along with a few other select Death Eaters, was given the enviable task of trying to infiltrate Hogwarts School and was the only Death Eater to succeed -- although not in the role the Dark Lord wanted and needed him in. - Bran Taggart
As the Head of the Hit Wizard Department, Bran Taggart is one of the Death Eaters' most powerful and vulnerable members.
Other characters
- Narcissa Black
Narcissa is the youngest and possibly the most spoiled daughter of the Black family. - Elsie Callow
Married to Oswin Callow, Elsie is a secretary in the Hit Wizard Department. - Evelyn Callow
The daughter of Elsie and Oswin Callow, Evelyn is a friendly, flirty worker in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office. - Elridge Ferwinkle
Elridge is the kindly old owner of Obscurus Books, the self-publishing book shop, which he offers use of to the Order of the Phoenix as headquarters. - Dorcas Meadowes
Dorcas' obstinant and serious attitude have helped carve her way in the Hit Wizard department. Some may know she was turned down from the Auror program, an event she is still quite snippy about. - Tomas Miram
The simple, hard-working type, Tomas is a young, half-blooded Auror.
